This summer was a busy one for my family. Lots of trips, work, activities, and events. I’m about as type A as you can be, so I had everything planned out to a T. I was prepared. What I wasn’t prepared for however, was the heat!
When it gets so hot, it just makes everything so much more exhausting. One night my husband and I really needed to cool off, but we didn’t feel like getting any ice cream. So behold….wine slushies!
The recipe is actually quite easy!
1 bottle of Pink Moscato (any brand works, but if you’re making a lot, I like to go cheap and just grab barefoot for a slushie)
4-5 Fresh Strawberries
4-5 Large ice cubes OR Large frozen strawberries
1/4 cup pure cane sugar
Blend until smooth & top with a fresh strawberry!
Sip & Enjoy…
This looks good and refreshing 🙂 And so long as there is wine in it, I’m in, LOL!
I also shared a summer cocktail with local fortified wine from where I live, with tonic water, recipe and cocktail-making video http://socialvignerons.com/2017/08/03/a-summery-cocktail-with-fortified-french-wine-rivtonic/
Does that seem tempting?
Cheers. & Thanks for sharing. Julien
