I am completely obsessed with body scrubs. Exfoliation leads to fresh, healthy, soft skin & it doesn’t get better than that.
Body scrubs are so much easier than you think. Seriously, they can be made in as little as 5 minutes ❤️
You’ll notice in this DIY that there is a “base” recipe for body scrubs & that you can change up your flavor/scents very easily. I say flavors because these are also wonderful lip scrubs!
I love all scrubs but I will be posting 4 of the most popular ones that my surrounding friends & family have wanted!
Our first scrub today is Tropical Goddess 🍍
All you need is:
1 cup of White Sugar
1/2 cup Organic Coconut Oil
Pineapple fragrance oil
SO simple right? Mix these in a mixing bowl & store at room temperature. You can make it more dry or wet by reducing the oil amount.
Lavender & Peppermint are very popular, and for those 2, you will use the same recipe, but change up the oil! I like to grind mint leaves into my peppermint scrub as well.
Our final scrub is a Coffee scrub. Coffee scrubs are a little extra special. The caffeine in the coffee grounds activates against your skin and can help reduce cellulite! Love, right? ☕️ I KNEW coffee was my best friend.
For this scrub you will need:
1 part Coconut Oil
1 part Ground Coffee
1 part Raw or Brown Sugar
Brown sugar will create a smoother scrub, while the Raw sugar is much more gritty and should not be rubbed in as hard!
